What Jury is for
Jury runs live performance or screening events: judges score privately, then you can publish and project a leaderboard for the audience.
Use it for Year 10 short films, battle of the bands, pitch nights, or peer critique with clear criteria. Scores stay private to each judge until you are ready to share; feedback can be collected separately from the final ranking.
Teacher, judges, and audience

| Judge | Open the judge panel, score each competitor on your criteria (sliders), optionally leave short feedback, submit — other judges cannot see your scores |
| Audience | Watch the projected leaderboard when you publish results for the room |
Use Judge as me to score yourself as a judge, or Preview judge UI to see the student/guest judge experience before the event.
How you run an event
- Open your Module → Lab → Create Jury activity; name the event.
- Add scoring categories (e.g. Cinematography, Editing, Colour grading) and competitors (groups or acts).
- Add judges by email, or use Judge as me for a quick staff score.
- During the event: judges score privately; you monitor the session.
- Open Judges’ feedback and Final judgment; project the leaderboard when ready.
Jury also closes the Arcade term loop: after students build games, the class can judge the best versions in Jury, then publish the winner into Playground for ongoing play.
